Candle Holders

Candle holders come in a wide variety of sizes and styles. From small votive cups to the largest, most ornate candle stick holders, these items can be found in homes around the world. They are also commonly used inside churches as well.

Chandeliers, before the invention of electricity, were often the largest candle holders in a home. They get their name from “chandlers”, which is the traditional term for a candle maker. These were often extremely ornate, designed to hold many candles, and were often the primary source of light in a given room.

Many of today’s candle holders are also designed to hold a number of candles. Some are designed as a stand that contains several places to mount a candle. Others are designed to hang from the ceiling, or mount to a wall like a sconce.
