Scented Candle

A scented candle can make a great gift for nearly any occasion. They combine the warm glow that only a candle can offer with the subtle fragrance of essential oils. These candles can be infused with nearly any scent imaginable.

A scented candle is created by mixing the preferred essential oil with the melted wax before it is poured into the mold. Some candles give off a subtle fragrance, while others can be made to illicit a much stronger scent. Many companies can make custom scents as well.

A scented candle can be a traditional stick or pillar candle, but some of the most popular versions are contained within a jar. The advantage of a jarred candle is that they keep all the melted wax inside, thereby eliminating the chances of any wax dripping onto the table on which it sits. These jars usually contain enough candle wax to ensure that they can burn for a long period of time.
